Ignacio Bechara - Visual Artist
Bachelor in Visual Arts and Argentine visual artist, born in Buenos Aires in 1983. He lived his childhood in Monte Grande, in a family immersed in teaching and art. He began his artistic training at an early age, experimenting with various techniques and traditional and digital disciplines.
​
Her academic training began in 2006, at the National University of the Arts, where she graduated in 2018 with the highest grades. Her thesis: "Processes of Transmutation. Between matter and the immaterial", investigates the feasibility of finding, through artistic creation, an access to unravel personal pain and memories lodged in our unconscious plane. This research is directed by visual artist Anahí Cáceres.

She focuses her artistic production mainly on digital compositions, photography, video art and audiovisual installations.
​
During his academic training at UNA, he participated as an assistant in the Chair of Guillermo Kexel, dictating the third level of the material Digitalization of Images.
Since 2009 she has worked as a teacher, working at primary, secondary and university levels.
Since 2018, together with Mariano Sangalli, he is co-founder of "Proyecto Cartílago", a group where horizontal art clinics are held, with the participation of national and international artists.

​Together with artist Mariano Sangalli, he starts the "Proyecto Cartílago": a space for interaction that offers horizontal art seminars. With the participation of national and international artists. At Casa Doblas. Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Argentina.
​As a researcher, he is part of the project "A Journey from Data to Matter". Directed by Anahí Cáceres, for the Research and Postgraduate Department of the Universidad Nacional de las Artes.

Obtained a Mention in the Prilidiano Pueyrredón Award, with an exhibition at the Library of Congress.
He was selected in the first edition of FAUNA - Festival Artístico Universidad Nacional de las Artes, in the Photography category, held at the Ciudad Cultural Konex..
Participates in the virtual exhibition "Mediática". As part of the digital exploration of the Universidad Nacional de las Artes.

He obtains the Individual Production Grant, awarded by the Universidad Nacional de las Artes, which finances a series of his works.

Participates in the group show "Paracaídas para Tres", with the group "La Tripleta" with artists Mariano Sangalli and Lucía Higuera, at the Centro Cultural Subsuelo, in Ciudad Universitaria.
Obtained an Honorable Mention in the "Prilidiano Pueyrredón Award". Exhibition at the Recoleta Cultural Center.
2009
He began to work as an assistant in Guillermo Kexel's chair, teaching the third level of the subject "Digitalization of Images".
